An Introduction!
Welcome to Sunflower Fields Farm Shares! This area of the GROWN Locally website will explain how Farm Shares works, what you can expect and why this is a great way to make a commitment to purchase foods from your local region.

There are downloadable 2005 brochures as well as order forms, surveys and price lists available in the Downloads area which you will be able to view and print using Adobe Acorbat Reader. How Our Products Get from Us to You
The way that most of our Farm Share Shareholders and Food Basket Members receive their produce is by our home delivery method. We deliver shares and Food Basket orders once a week throughout the growing season and bring them directly to you. The advantages seem obvious for you - convenience and a consistent delivery time and day - but there are others. The most important one is that we see you in person as many times as possible.
Our alternative delivery methods also incorporate this “farmer to consumer” relationship. Each year, more Shareholders have chosen our On-Farm Pick-up Program where they go directly to one of our two farm pick-up sites to receive their shares - see the producer map page for locations. There are many advantages to this method as well. Most importantly, we want, and insist, on getting you your products in as fresh a state as possible. This means delivering vegetables hours from the field, chilled, first-washed and carefully packaged. This is important to you - and it is important to us!
