Established in 2004 now has grown to over 1300 plants on 3 acres
It was 3 years until we harvested our first crop.
2 acres of white wine grapes (LaCrescent)
1 acre of seedless table grapes (Somerset Seedless)
Owned and operated by Brian & Kelly Nordschow (children, Makenzie & Brandon)
Somerset Seedless grapes selected for their cold hardiness and wonderful flavor.
No pesticides used on the table grapes. We use fungicides to protect both table & wine grapes.

Wine grapes 23,000 lbs
Table grapes 1,000 lbs
2009 expected harvest:
Wine grapes 24,000 lbs
Table grapes 4,000 lbs
Brian works fulltime at Windridge Implements the local Case-IH dealership
Kelly is self employed and has a successful Decorating business
We also market our table grapes directly to area schools and colleges
Wine grapes are under annual contract and sold to Park Farm Winery, Dubuque, IA.
Grapes are a very time consuming crop to grow on a commercial scale.
