Interactive Area!
Our Interactive Area is really a neat place! The idea behind all this was to allow all of us to have a place to share ideas, recipes, information and to be able to stand on a soapbox when we need to - all relative to a localized food system and how we fit, of course. So...
By clicking on the link below, you are going to find a really great forum, or bulletin board or message area, or whatever you wish to call it. There you can share your ideas and grab a few good ones from others as well!
How does it all work. It is really simple...really! You will need to "register" but all that measn is you get a password to access the forum. Once you are registered - just follow the link! - you can check for new messages, enter your own thoughts on specific topics in what we call forums and suggest new topics which the moderator will add for you. It is a great way to connec with others that you would not necessarily run into during your busy day and get some help with how to use that "big yellow thing" that came in your box today.
Additionally, Connie Burns will be moderating a program called DINE Locally which will give you access to her expertise as a dietician and nutritionist. She will be able to help you individually with food use issues, nutrition questions and maybe even getting us to grow something you wish you could get from us farmers!
